Andrew is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse with over 40 years experience in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
He initially started work at Oakley Hospital in 1974 and went on to train at Carrington Hospital in the late 70’s going on to bridge to General Nursing in 1991.
As a founding Director of Ranworth Healthcare in 2007 he sat on the panel as ACC’s providers representative who collectively wrote the first National Guidelines for Traumatic Brain Injury. Andrew has a particular passion for this area and also teaches Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training to staff.
Andrew sits on the Board as Director of Rehabilitation.
He has been a volunteer firefighter in the Kumeu Brigade since 1993 and is currently Chief Fire Officer.
