My journey with Goodwood Park Healthcare Group now spans seven years!!
I started in 2010 as a part-time support worker in newly established Bay of Plenty Supported Living Service. This is a fast paced contract which I love, you never know what day will bring. The early days were certainly exciting times as team grew from ground up as our referrals increased. The support and training received from senior management during se early years was invaluable to success of service and building some very green recruits into exceptional support workers. As we grew, I n progressed into an assessor position within service, responsible for developing goal focused service plans for our clients. In 2012 I applied for and secured Team Leader position for Bay of Plenty team. Anor string to my bow, leadership.
And here we are in 2017! I am currently Community Services Manager for organisation. I am responsible for smooth running of all community services in Goodwood Park Healthcare Group. I have been in this role since October 2015.
Goodwood Park Healthcare Group has given me opportunity to upskill in my chosen field of healthcare and progress my career in a supportive, familiar environment. I am very grateful to Goodwood Park Healthcare Group for numerous training opportunities provided to all staff and ir continued dedication to quality. I feel privileged to work alongside some exceptionally talented and passionate people who only want very best outcomes for our clients. Needless to say, I have learnt a lot over past seven years.
